HOW DO ORACLE CARDS WORK?

Reading oracle cards is a form of divination, which means to gain insights through a standardized ritual or process. Divination is about tapping into the eternal knowledge within. You already know ALL the answers. When you perform a reading, you are bypassing your conscious mind to tap into this knowing.

ARE ORACLE CARDS ALIVE?

I've seen so many people project human personalities and feelings on their cards as if the cards themselves are alive. The cards are cardstock so they aren't imbued with feelings or personality. They can't make your life worse or better.

There isn't any inherent magic in the cards. The magic is within you and you bring that magic to your readings and your interpretations.

ARE READINGS ALWAYS ACCURATE?

It depends on how you look at it. Sometimes, when giving predictive readings, you may find the prediction comes true and sometimes it may not come true. Sometimes, the reader has interpreted the cards incorrectly based on context and perhaps out of a lack of objectivity. We are all fallible. One thing to keep in mind is that nothing is set in stone. Destiny is changing as a result of the reading itself and how the seeker responds to it.

MUST YOU BE BORN WITH SPECIAL ABILITIES OR GIFTS TO READ CARDS?

No. There are no special gifts required for divination. Divination is a system and all that's needed to excel at it is study and practice.

ARE ORACLE CARDS DEMONIC? IS DIVINATION A SIN?

Many people who have a Christian upbringing (like myself) are familiar with the thought that anything divination-related is evil or a sin. But the Bible speaks of divination in the form of dreams, prophets, and casting lots as a way to understand God's will. In fact the root of the word divination means divine or godly. I have been using oracle cards for 25 years and have gotten closer to God in the process. I believe prayer and divination work in tandem. Prayer creates a one-way communication or supplication to God. Divination provides an answer to the prayer. I've been able to trust my innate wisdom and the divinity of the messages I've received through reading cards. But it's not up to me to help you figure out what is evil or sinful. That is something you need to figure out before you proceed with reading cards.
